Brethren,
I
am once again happy to report that our May stated meeting was very well
attended. Everyone really enjoyed seeing the Past Masters perform the
Fellow Craft Degree, which was perfectly executed.
During the month of June, we will have a Special Bible Presentation Ceremony
for all the Brothers who were raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason
this year. They will be presented with their Bibles, which will be signed by
all of the members of Athelstan. This is very meaningful and special
ceremony. I urge everyone to attend so that our Brothers can once again be
congratulated.
Alas! The time is quickly approaching that we will close our Lodge for the
summer. Please accept my sincere thanks to all of the members of Athelstan,
for attending our stated and training meetings and for generally showing
their strong support of our Lodge. I look forward to seeing everyone again
in September when we will re-convene after the summer recess.
The
Square Club has planned two events that we hope will enable us to get
together with our families during the summer. Please contact Brother William
J. Demko Jr. PM to purchase tickets.
I
would like to reiterate how pleased I am to be in a position to make special
note of continued high attendance at our instruction meetings. I look
forward to seeing more of our members attending, especially the officers and
those who wish to advance in the chairs.
