From the East - Worshipful Master's Message (March 2010)
Brethren: an active member is one who maintains his membership
in the lodge by paying dues, and taking part in the work and
responsibilities of the fraternity. In not maintaining these
responsibilities, we may remain Masons in our hearts, but
deprive ourselves of the real benefits of membership.
I invite all of our members who have not been to lodge in some
time, to take just a few hours, one evening a month and enjoy
some fellowship with other like-minded men.
Once there you will be in the company of many men that would
enjoy your presence as much as you would enjoy theirs, and
benefit in the good work we all do for Masonry.
The badge of a Freemason is the lamb’s skin: worn through all of
the degrees, and in lodge, and should stand as a reminder to
purity of life and rectitude of conduct. Wear your apron again,
come and support your lodge. We need you and all of the good
things you had brought to the lodge in the past.
Fraternally,
Raymond L Bush, PM
